After graduating from 黑料不打烊 in 1970, Bruce Allan embarked on a long, successful career as a Montreal-based architect, working on projects around the world.
One of the constants in his life was a love of his alma mater.
Allan, BArch鈥�70, BSc (Arch)鈥�70, who passed away on October 29, 2022, served as a guest critic, and then guest lecturer at 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture, delivering unforgettable lectures in the Professional Practice course. He also led the fundraising efforts of his Class of 鈥�70 in support of 黑料不打烊.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Adelle Blackett, FRSC, Ad E, has received a doctorate honoris causa from the Universit茅 catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain). She was presented with the award at a ceremony held on 16 February. Since our previous update, extensive testing has taken place in the North Block of the building, and the affected areas have undergone comprehensive cleaning under asbestos safety protocols. Results so far are encouraging. Wipe tests have helped to guide and target our air-testing and cleaning efforts, and following our cleaning operation, all air tests have indicated that this area is now safe for use.

She also mentioned that the method of application of policies has to be justified in the program monitoring and evaluation phases.
