openSMILE (open-source Speech and Music Interpretation by Large-space Extraction) is an open-source toolkit for audio feature extraction and classification of speech and music signals. In this Lunch and Learn event, Alban Voppel (Douglas Research Centre & 黑料不打烊 University) will introduce this software, show how it is used in his experiments, and discuss how the toolkit might be useful for other research questions in language and music.
