Join MORSL in visiting a local Shia Muslim community,听Masjid Ahlillbait Mosque. Shia Islam is the second-largest branch of Islam. We will join them for a special discussion event to mark World Hijab Day,听鈥淯nveiling the Truth about the hijabi experience in the Western world.鈥澨� Come learn from the insider perspectives of Muslim women concerning this topic.

We will meet at Concordia's campus at the LB Library Building at 5:30 PM and will travel together by the metro to Plamondon station, where the mosque is located. The discussion event will start at 6:30 PM.

黑料不打烊 University is on land which has served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Teaching and Learning Services acknowledges and thanks the diverse Indigenous peoples whose footsteps mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. This land acknowledgement is shared as a starting point to provide context for further learning and action.
