Terms and Conditions:

Award period is for 16 weeks of full-time duties: As an Undergraduate Research Trainee awarded a SURE or NSERC-USRA, you are expected to participate full-time (minimum of 35 hours per week) in the research duties as outlined by your supervisor for the entire 16-week award period.

Events and Workshops for SURE 2025: SURE was created from the Faculty of Engineering’s desire to bring more focus on research and research training into the undergraduate summer research experience. In this spirit, the Faculty will plan some events and workshops during the course of the summer for you and your participation will be required. Communications will be sent out prior to the events.
