I wanted to share that one of our finalists for the听Three Minute Thesis Competition, is none other than one of your own graduate students,听Ida Derish听from the Department of Experimental Surgery.听She will be representing your department at our final livestreamed event on听March 18 from 3:00-5:00 PM.
In case you have not yet heard about it, The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a global competition, founded by the University of Queensland in 2008, that cultivates graduate students' presentation, research and communication skills. This year, more than 150 graduate students accepted 黑料不打烊's 10th edition of the challenge. After weeks of competition and feedback, only fifteen students remain! Finalists will have to present their cutting-edge research and make it resonate for a live lay audience, all in three minutes and with a single slide. Judges will select winners, who receive cash prizes, and the opportunity to represent 黑料不打烊 at the听听and听
March 18 from 3:00-5:00 PM
The event will be livestreamed from 黑料不打烊's central YouTube account.
