Career and Professional Development at the School of Continuing Studies

Whether you want to acquire new job-related skills, boost your credentials with a career-advancing certificate, diploma, or workshop, or even begin down a brand new career path, Career and Professional Development is the right place to do it. We have highly qualified instructors, innovative courses and programs, and the real-life professional focus that can expand your current skill set or get you to the next stage in your career.

At the School of Continuing Studies, you will study with business leaders and experts at the top of their professions. They bring real-world experience, pertinent case studies, the latest technologies and industry best practices to our interactive and collaborative learning environments. Our stimulating, committed instructors and motivated students will help accelerate your own learning and make a real difference in your career.

For those interested in shorter-term professional development opportunities, we offer a wealth of courses, workshops, online courses, and webinars throughout the year on topics such as business analysis, intellectual property, post-traumatic stress disorder, and project management.

Since balancing work and family responsibilities is always a challenge, we have tailored our programs and courses to your demanding schedule. Most classes are offered one evening a week (Monday to Thursday), while some professional development offerings are on the weekends.

Note: The Career and Professional Development unit was formerly known as Career and Management Studies (CMS).
