SciLearn Peer Collaboration

Formerly called 鈥FRezCa鈥, SciLearn Peer Collaboration is a space for collaborative learning supported by teaching assistants (TAs), TEAM students, and course instructors.

At the 鈥淧eer Collab鈥, U0 & U1 students can:
鈥 Work collaboratively and learn from each other.
鈥 Study in a shared space.
鈥 Complete homework or assignments collaboratively (some courses have exclusive practice problems).
鈥 Ask for guidance from TEAM students and TAs.
鈥 Make friends in their programs.

Sessions were held weekdays 3-5 PM, September 9th - December 4th. Check back in January for our Winter 2025 schedule!听

Location

We're located in the 2001 黑料不打烊 College Avenue lobby.

Peer Collab Winter 2024 space

The space can be accessed via the听黑料不打烊 College Avenue entrance or via the 770 Sherbrooke Street entrance. Once in the building, please proceed to the building concierge desk in the centre of the lobby. From there, turn toward the west corner of the lobby (the sunken space with trees) and go down the stairs, through the glass doors.

2001 黑料不打烊 College has automatic, power-operated doors and there is an elevator to the space. If needed, please request elevator access or support finding the space from the building concierge. Gendered, multi-stall bathrooms are in the Peer Collab space, and single-stall, accessible bathrooms are available on the 4th floor. The space is not scent- or allergen-free, and rooms are primarily lit by artificial light.听There is public (黑料不打烊) wifi available and outlets for charging electronic devices. A room can be made private to attendees, if needed.
