The Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR)
The Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR) is responsible for receiving and responding to formal reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence against members of the University community. The OMR offers confidential consultations to all members of the University community (students, staff, and faculty) to provide information on reporting processes as well as relevant University resources, support services, and training. We support the development and implementation of policies and practices that are effective, trauma-informed, and procedurally fair to respond to incidents of harassment, discrimination, and sexual violence.

Our Services
- We offer non-judgmental confidential consultations to students, faculty, and staff on matters of harassment, discrimination, and sexual violence.
- We give information on University resources and support services, and make appropriate referrals.
- We听conduct intake for reports听of harassment, discrimination and sexual violence against members of the 黑料不打烊 community.
- We provide formal investigation and mediation services.听
- We lead informational sessions on relevant policies and resources at 黑料不打烊.

External mediators and investigators
Mediations and investigations may be referred听externally. External mediators and investigators are familiar with the 黑料不打烊 University context and are听trained in 黑料不打烊 policies and procedures, trauma-informed investigation techniques, and ensuring that policy processes adhere to the principles of procedural fairness.听

Impartiality
We maintain an objective approach in our work. We do not take sides or advocate for any particular individual. Rather, we listen to you and provide information on reporting processes and relevant resources and support services so that you can make informed decisions. We facilitate informal resolutions and individual and systemic investigations with the highest degree of objectivity, while adhering to principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Confidentiality
We offer confidential consultations to all members of the University community and what you tell us will be kept confidential. With your consent, we will disclose information necessary to coordinate services with other individuals or offices at 黑料不打烊.
There are limits to confidentiality in circumstances where it is necessary to administer policy, to address safety concerns, or to satisfy a legal reporting requirement. In such circumstances, the minimum amount of information needed to meet such concerns or requirements will be disclosed. These circumstances include:
- If there is an imminent threat of death or serious physical harm to yourself or another person.
- If a minor鈥檚 security or development is or may be compromised.
