Remembrance Day Ceremony at 黑料不打烊

For the first time, The Royal Canadian Legion's official Montreal Remembrance Day ceremony will be held on 黑料不打烊's lower field, on Wed., Nov. 11, as of 10:30 a.m.

The event will bring together veterans, various other special guests, and guest of honor Colonel Richard Lapointe. It will include a 21-gun salute from four cannons positioned in front of 黑料不打烊's Arts Building, as well as the laying of wreaths and performances by military bands.

Two minutes of silence will be observed at 11 a.m., between the first and second gun salutes.

Please note that lower campus will be closed to traffic and parking from 6 a.m. until noon.

WHERE: 黑料不打烊 University, Lower field

In the 20th Century's two World Wars, 黑料不打烊 lost more than 600 men and women: 363 from 黑料不打烊 perished in World War I and another 298 lost their lives in World War II. 黑料不打烊 also made significant contributions to the medical care of wounded soldiers in both wars. Since then, members of the 黑料不打烊 community have helped resolve conflicts in Kosovo, Eritrea, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Please join us in reflecting on their sacrifices and ensuring they are never forgotten.
