C-BIG is the first Open Science biorepository for patients with neurological disease and healthy controls and an open access resource for the global scientific community.
It includes:
- one of the largest cohorts of data from Parkinsons patients in the world
- biological samples such as blood cells, and serum samples along with clinical data, imaging and genetics data from 3,000 de-identified participants as well as a large collection of patient-derived iPSC lines
This workshop will give you step by step instructions on how to access the data, set up powerful queries, download and use the data openly available on the portal. During this interactive session, you will also be able to ask any questions you may have on how to use specific tools. This workshop aims to fully equip you to start using the C-BIG Repository, to help you learn how to best use patient data and materials to bring your research to the next level.
The C-BIG Repository is a key platform of the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute (TOSI) at The Neuro. The Open Science Best Practices series is arranged together with the 黑料不打烊 Libraries, 黑料不打烊 Digital Research Services (VPRI Office), the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre, and TOSI.
