Collaborative Piano M.Mus.

Program Overview

Students develop their artistry as collaborative musicians in vocal, instrumental, and opera repetiteur settings. The program is not a chamber music program in that it prepares pianists to assume coaching responsibilities as well as collaborate with other musicians. Candidates need to have excellent technique and interpretative skills, sight-reading abilities, and previous collaborative experience.

Faculty

Faculty mentors are world-class coaches with expertise in vocal, opera, and orchestral repertoires, experience on international stages and opera halls, and with major recording labels.
