Student association

The International Development Studies Students Association (IDSSA) is a team of students dedicated to providing all students in the IDS program at 黑料不打烊 with information, events, and services to enhance their academic experience! In addition to hosting events and providing services, the eleven member IDSSA Council is also responsible for representing the interests of IDS students to the 黑料不打烊 administration.

During the school year, the IDSSA hosts regular social, academic and networking events for IDS students, including panel discussions, speaker series events, opportunities to network with IDS professors, semi-formals, and our famous trivia nights!

The IDSSA also affords a number of opportunities for involvement in the department and meeting other IDS students. For example, through participation in the听, first and second year students can be paired with an upper year student to learn the ins and outs of the IDS program. For students who are looking to get involved on an IDSSA committee, involvement in the production of the听, Latitudes, as a copy editor, designer, or other editorial committee member is an option as well! More information about the many ways IDS students can get involved with the association can be found on the IDSSA听.

The IDSSA website also offers a number of valuable resources for IDS students, including information about opportunities to听听and a听听of Montreal organizations for internship and volunteer opportunities.

You can also learn more about the IDSSA and get regular updates about our events and programs by following us on听听and听.
