Description of planned Activities
Increase the number of internships available to English-speaking students in H&SS programs of study. Increase the number of English-speaking health care and social services professionals returning to or moving to the C么te-de-Gasp茅 territory to work following completion of study. Establish internship agreements with post secondary institutions providing programs in health and social services to English-speaking students. Partner with Vision Gasp茅-Perc茅 Now to determine priorities with a view to developing permanent mechanisms to attract and maintain English-speaking H&SS professionals. Partner with local community groups with experience in promoting the territory with a view to attracting youth and providing the necessary structure (e.g. accommodation / housing).
