ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ University has been training leaders in dental medicine from Canada, the United States and other countries for over 100 years. The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences' General Practice Residency Program is the largest in Canada with a current enrollment of 21 residents. Throughout the one-year training program, residents will be exposed to a broad multidisciplinary approach to clinical practice.Â
Our dental clinics are located at three sites in Montreal, of which two belong to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ University Health Centre (MUHC).
Clinic locations:
Residents train at one site with rotations throughout the year. The program is comprised of 52 credits and begins on July 1 and finishes on June 30 of the following year.
The General Residency Program provides recent dental graduates with a broad multidisciplinary approach to the clinical practice of dental medicine. The residents are under the constant supervision and guidance of members of the attending staff.

The hospital teaching staff is comprised of general practitioners and specialists in Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Other specialists in Oral Pathology and Radiology are available for consultations. All clinical teachers hold appointments in the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued a certificate recognizing successful completion of a Multidisciplinary Residency Program in Dental Medicine.
