Watch out for our weekly messages around campus and on social media: From phishing to strong passwords, and everything in between, we鈥檝e got you covered. Throughout the month, our digital displays will highlight themes that are iconic to both Montreal and 黑料不打烊, blending cybersecurity insights with a unique local twist.
The IT Services team will be at various locations throughout campus in October. Stop by and pick up some treats and some swag and learn a little about what 黑料不打烊 is doing to safeguard against cybersecurity threats.

Staying safe online can be daunting and even impact your mental well-being. When you add in trying to protect the kids in your life: stress levels can skyrocket. The news regularly covers the dangers of too much screen time, cyber-bullying, and all the other threats lurking in every corner of the digital world, even on online services that are supposed to be kid-friendly.
So how do you safely navigate the digital world and protect your kids as they explore it? Our virtual panel of parents (and bonus auntie) will be sharing the knowledge, tips and tricks that they've picked up in their professional and personal lives. We'll talk safety, digital hygiene, cyber-bullying, scams, and of course, privacy for you and yours across a wide spectrum of the digital world.
Since we can't fit everything we'd like to discuss into this one session, we'll send you on your way with a handout chock-full of best practices and links to help you pick and set up parental controls, secure your (and their) devices, and supports and resources from trusted organisations.
