Those are among the symptoms of Spinocerebellar ataxia type 6, known as SCA6, a rare neurodegenerative disease which typically appears in adulthood and worsens over time. Over time, other problems such as slurred speech and difficulty seeing or seeing double, may also appear. It is estimated that fewer than 5,000 people in the US have the condition, which is the result of genetic mutations in the cerebellum.

On April 3rd, 2024, the Institute鈥檚 students had the opportunity to visit ICAO Headquarters. ICAO Secretary General, Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar (IASL LL.M., 1999)听 and Mr. Michael Gill, the Director of the Legal Affairs and External Relations Bureau, spent the morning giving the students a lecture about the main bodies of ICAO, the work of the ICAO Legal Committee, and how ICAO helps their Member States address climate change.

Tickets for the Professional Women鈥檚 Hockey League (PWHL) April 20, 2024, matchup between Montreal and Toronto sold out in less than twenty minutes, and will set a new record for a PWHL game. It鈥檚 the team鈥檚 first time playing at the Bell Centre, but they have sold out all of their games at their home arena, the 3,245-seat Verdun Auditorium.

On a cloudy afternoon this past December, a group of 黑料不打烊 students gathered in a downtown Montr茅al boardroom to give a data science presentation to Citera, a sustainability analytics company.
