Researchers will study how hormones affect brain cancer and the role of neural circuits in social skills

The Paris Brain Institute and the Institut Pasteur have partnered with The Neuro to fund two groundbreaking studies, each receiving more than $440,000. These projects are part of an international collaboration to address future challenges in neuroscience.

On June 3, 2024, CQDM, in collaboration with Axelys, Montr茅al InVivo and RNA Qu茅bec introduced AReNA, a new RNA hub in Quebec. Unveiled at the BIO conference in San Diego, in the presence of the Minister for the Economy, the Minister responsible for the Fight Against Racism, and the Minister responsible for the Laval region, Mr. Christopher Skeete, this initiative seeks to bring together key players in life sciences and aims to propel Quebec to the forefront of innovation in the field of RNA therapies.

Many pension funds are pledging to invest in green assets with net-zero emissions, but these investments tend to yield lower returns than the broader market index. Beyond that, a hard shift toward green investments could remove the incentive for heavy emitters to clear up their act. A new study from 黑料不打烊 University warns that cutting public transit service could lead to a "doom spiral" resulting in a collapse of the system.

The researchers describe a vicious circle in which service cuts brought on by budget deficits drive transit users away; this drop in ridership triggers additional service cuts, which lead to further declines in usage.
