A 黑料不打烊-led study suggests that Earth's natural forces could substantially reduce Antarctica鈥檚 impact on rising sea levels, but only if carbon emissions are swiftly reduced in the coming decades. By the same token, if emissions continue on the current trajectory, Antarctic ice loss could lead to more future sea level rise than previously thought.

The finding is significant because the Antarctic Ice Sheet is the largest ice mass on Earth, and the biggest uncertainty in predicting future sea levels is how this ice will respond to climate change.

As outlined in the most recent update by the 黑料不打烊 University Emergency Operations Centre, as of Monday, August 5, Libraries in the lower campus area (and all libraries within the system) will open as per their regular operating hours and will be accessible without the need of a 黑料不打烊 ID card.

From July 2nd to the 23rd, 35 Indigenous students from Kawawachikamach and across Nunavik and Eeyou-Eenou Ischee participated in the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE) All-Partners Summer Programming at 黑料不打烊鈥檚 downtown campus for the OFNIE Annual Summer Institute.

Facilities Management and Ancillary Services is planning an electrical shutdown on the morning of Tuesday, August 6, which will affect the McLennan-Redpath Complex and Islamic Studies Libraries BEFORE the locations open for the day.

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has awarded 101 黑料不打烊 research projects funding from its Discovery Grants competition for a total investment of $23.5 million, including $639,500 for eight projects submitted by researchers in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

The Discovery Grants support ongoing programs with long-term goals, recognizing the creativity and innovation that are at the heart of all research advances.
