The Faculty of Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) has unveiled its new Indigenous space, named the Onkwanakt铆:io lab, which aims to provide a supportive environment for Indigenous students and encourage Indigenous-focused research.

The space features a mural highlighting Indigenous athletes and a hand-carved wooden table depicting traditional Indigenous sports, underscoring the connection between culture, movement, and community.

US tariffs will hit the Canadian economy hard, but individual industries will experience unique effects. In the case of aluminum production, much of Canada鈥檚 3.2 million metric tons of aluminum that Canada produces each year could be re-routed to Europe.
