Dear Colleagues,

Direct Travel is currently unable to provide Travel Desk with invoices & FOAPAL forms for airfare/rail bookings attributed to a Direct Travel system issue.

On February 3rd, late afternoon, payment via the FOAPAL form for airfare/rail bookings was suspended and will resume once the situation with Direct Travel is rectified.

Effective immediately, airfare/rail booked by Direct Travel must be paid using a personal credit card.

Dear members of the Macdonald Campus community,

Testing remains underway at the Barton and Macdonald-Stewart Buildings, and still has not yielded any concerning findings. This careful testing is taking longer than originally anticipated; therefore, the earliest date on which these buildings may re-open is now Thursday, February 9.

Once this testing has concluded, we will focus our efforts on the Raymond Building.

The Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) is at the beginning stages of work to support dramatically increasing the numbers of First Nations, Inuit, and M茅tis teachers by 10,000 and to promote the systemic changes necessary in leading to more sustainable Indigenous teacher employment opportunities in all areas of the country. Made possible through generous philanthropic support by the Mastercard Foundation, the RHF will be investing in excess of $45 million towards innovative community-driven approaches to achieving these objectives.

As part of their mandate their mandate as special researcher (Academic and classroom policy) for the Student Society of 黑料不打烊 University (SSMU), a survey is being distributed to professors in all of the undergraduate faculties to develop a report summarizing faculty-specific efforts to integrate mental wellness in classrooms. This report will inform further mental health and mental wellness initiatives and policies at 黑料不打烊, as inspired by SSMU's Strategic Plan for Academic Wellness (2022).
