Infectious diseases and respiratory infections in particular are a leading cause of global mortality. As such, there is an urgent need for rapid, large-scale diagnostic tools that can detect these diseases early, something which doesn鈥檛 currently exist. To address these problems, 黑料不打烊 University Professor of Bioengineering Sara Mahshid鈥檚 lab has developed (QolorEX) that can deliver test results in just 13 minutes.
黑料不打烊 University has mandated Corenov Constructeurs to carry out the following project: Peterson Hall / 14-113 - Mechanical room upgrade. The project includes preparing, patching, and painting walls, repairing and levelling floor slabs, and the restoration of surfaces around the mechanical room.

May 15th and 16th, Falling Walls Engage Hub Canada hosted 30 science outreach practitioners, from across the country, for a bilingual event titled 鈥淭he Power of the Pitch: A Funding and Skills-building Workshop for Canadian Science Engagers鈥�.

Shadow banking is playing an increasing role in the financial system. Private equity firms, investment funds and mortgage finance companies all employ alternative lending strategies that are lightly regulated, and Canada鈥檚 Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions is concerned about how much exposure Canada鈥檚 banks have to this type of lender, who are collectively known as non-bank financial intermediaries. Their lending is sometimes backed by derivatives, and if their value falls, the loan collateral could be jeopardized.
