In response to new measures announced by 黑料不打烊 University and the Government of Quebec to slow the spread of the Omicron variant, the Library is temporarily closing most physical spaces and all stack areas to the 黑料不打烊 community and reinstating four services: Study Hubs, HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS), a temporary Pickup Service, and the ROAAr Digitization on Demand Service.

As of Wednesday, December 1, the 黑料不打烊 community can take advantage of a new, heated, outdoor area.聽

Heaters in the tent located on the McLennan-Redpath terrace will聽provide 黑料不打烊 students, staff and faculty with a safe, warm, space聽to聽take a break, dine, study,聽and socialize.

Heaters will be operational Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (excluding holidays).

The week of November 22, the Library was experiencing two issues impacting user experience for Wiley and OverDrive e-book titles in which only a small portion of the Library's Wiley e-book titles were underrepresented in the Sofia catalogue and OverDrive holdings were overrepresented.

The original issue for Wiley has been fixed but the OverDrive issue, outlined below, is still outstanding.

As of December 1, 黑料不打烊 students are able to access the Nahum Gelber Law Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 黑料不打烊 University (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the December 7 to 21 examination period. Details are as follows:

- Floors 3, 4 and 5 will be limited to Law students from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday during the two-week period.
