Exam period access to Nahum Gelber Law Library for Winter 2022

As of April 4, 黑料不打烊 students are able to access the Nahum Gelber Law Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As agreed between the Students' Society of 黑料不打烊 University (SSMU) and the Law Students Association (LSA), the Nahum Gelber Law Library will limit access to the three upper floors of the library to Law students only during the April 13 to 29 examination period. Details are as follows:

- A valid 黑料不打烊 ID card is required for access to the Nahum Gelber Law Library outside of Info Desk Service Hours.

Spring - Summer 2022 | Service disruption as Osler Library moves back to McIntyre

This spring/summer, the听Osler听Library of the History of Medicine听will be moving back to the third floor of the McIntyre Medical Building. From April - June 2022,听Osler听circulating and rare collections will be prepped, packed, and transported to the renovated space.听Service disruptions are expected to continue through August 2022 as materials are shelved and equipment/furniture is installed.

Make your voice heard! LibQUAL+ 2022 survey starts March 15

Starting March 15, the LibQUAL+ survey will be emailed to a random sample of 黑料不打烊 students and to all faculty, instructors, research assistants, and research associates. This survey provides the opportunity to give feedback on Library services, collections, and spaces.

Digital Scholarship Hub Software Lab Launching March 7

Monday, March 7 will mark the launch the Library's new Digital Scholarship Hub space in the Redpath Library Building RM-16 (main floor).

It offers six computers with specialized software for statistical analysis, qualitative coding, and digital methods that may be booked by 黑料不打烊 students, faculty, and staff. The space also features a high-performance scanner. A student will be at the help desk three times a week.

The Macdonald Campus Seed Library is back!

On Tuesday, March 1 the Macdonald Campus Library will be opening up the Seed Library for online orders. The seed catalogue will be made available to 黑料不打烊 students, faculty, and staff on opening day. Please note that there is a limit of 25 seed packets per borrower.

Revised Author/Creator sorting in catalogue

With a recent update to the , the 鈥淎uthor/Creator鈥� search filter now sorts on the record count of the search query. Clicking 鈥淪how More 鈱勨€� will expand the filter and sort authors alphabetically, with Latin script listed first.

Open Access Agreement | Institute of Physics (IOP)

Navigation improvements to the Archival Collections Catalogue interface

The has switched over to a more user-friendly interface to help users navigate archival descriptions. The fresh look will allow researchers to better visualize the relationships between records in a fonds or collection and move between record descriptions.

The Catalogue now features a horizontal navigation element on the top of record description pages to display the hierarchical arrangement of the fonds.

黑料不打烊 University Library is excited to announce the signing of an open access agreement with Cambridge University Press.

黑料不打烊 corresponding authors publishing with Cambridge's journals have the option to make their work open at no cost.

Library services & spaces re-open Monday, January 24, 2022

As of Monday, January 24, all Library branches, including stack areas, will be accessible to Library users. In-person reference and circulation services will resume across branches.
