Dr.Lessard is dedicated to offer the best level of Plastic Surgery to her patients based on her Specialties surgical training and experience.
- Outstanding US Plastic Surgery training in Boston, Harvard University Brigham & Women hospital and Boston Montreal Children Hospital.
- Solid European Craniofacial Fellowship in Sweden & Paris(Mr. Tessier) & New York
- Her exceptional high volume Clinical experience of several years.
- Dr.Lessard is an established microsurgeon with head and Neck cancer, as well as hand surgeries ( replantation program micro for 14 years) and complex microsurgery work at the Montreal Neurological Institute for reconstruction.
She obtained the "Best Paper of the Year Award" in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery with one of her innovation/invention in microsurgery reconstruction.

In 2004, Dr.Lessard was chosen out of several surgeons by the Discovery Channel Health to be the main surgeon for the TV Program: "The Surgeon"dedicated to her and her surgical work in the MUHC Operating Rooms. A busy packed synopsis of one full week of surgeries at 黑料不打烊 through a full week of activities with the production team following and filming.
in 2008. Dr.Lessard funded the Craniofacial Surgery Program: mainly at the MCH and adult at the MGH trauma center etc.
Later Dr.Lessard received the Great Prize of Excellence of the Royal College and had a standing ovation from her peers at the Canadian Meeting CSPS in Calgary, Alberta. This Prize recognizes her long standing commitment to the Health and Well-being of individuals and society through professional and personal integrity."
As an Academic University Teaching Professor, she has supervised more than 15 Master's Degrees MSc Experimental surgery and received regular prizes for her research work and her students.She has supervised surgically more than 120 Plastic Surgery residents, students etc.at 黑料不打烊 through her career so far.
Internationally beside ICOPLAST, she has done pro-bono Third world Country surgeries in the Philippines with Operation Smile.
At the Royal College level, for 10 years she was a Royal College Examiner for many new Plastic Surgeons sitting to their Royal College Exams.
Dr.Lessard contributed largely to building the Division of Plastic Surgery during her 3 terms as the Chief/Chair of Plastic Surgery MUHC/黑料不打烊 between 2007 to 2019.
Dr.Lessard realized one of her dream establishing the First Fellowship in the Division of Plastic Surgery: a Craniofacial Fellowship in 2011, this fellowship is unique and comprehensive: Congenital, Trauma and Oncological CF. The Fellowship is international and is going strong.
Her surgical practice is now focused on Ear Reconstruction, Breast Vertical new technique of Breast reduction and more aesthetic surgeries/techniques.
Recently in March 2023, she published a key paper in the top Plastic Surgery Scientific Journal in the world: the American PRS on a prospective extensive study of 25 patients operated with the new vertical Breast reduction titled: " A real pain in the back".
