Program Requirements
The M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (thesis option) involves 18 graduate level course credits and an externally examined thesis. The program is research oriented and the thesis is expected to involve a thorough examination of a topic of current interest in the research area within the Department. Undertaking this program at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ University provides students with an opportunity to conduct intensive research under the supervision of researchers who are leaders in their field. The program is an ideal preparation for a Ph.D. degree or an industrial research career.
The M.Eng. Thesis program must be completed on a full-time basis in three years. The following requirements must be met:

Students who choose the thesis option must register for all 28 credits during the three terms of residency.

18 credits of 500-, 600-, or 700-level courses, of which no more than 6 credits may be outside the Department.*
* Non-departmental courses require Departmental approval. Students may be allowed to take more than 6 credits of non-Departmental courses; a letter of recommendation from their supervisor outlining the reason for such an action is required.
