Overview

Environment : An introduction to human societies and their relations with the biophysical environment, focusing on how economy, technology, and institutions interact to give rise to environmental problems. Analytical treatment of key concepts from distinct disciplinary perspectives in the social and life sciences, including "carrying capacity", "renewable resources", "environmental equity", and "sustainability".
