Since its founding, the Sheldon Centre has evolved to meet the shifting needs of researchers in the natural and life sciences 鈥� and that tradition continues today.

Office of Sponsored Research reopens in James Building
Research and International Relations is pleased to announce that the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has returned to the James Administration Building, as of Monday, May 13, 2013.
Due to extensive flooding in the James Building in February, 黑料不打烊 temporarily relocated OSR staff off campus. Thank you for your support, patience, and flexibility during the period while we were displaced.

As previously communicated, the Tri-Agency (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR) conducted a financial monitoring review at 黑料不打烊 in 2010 that now requires us to address significant concerns pertaining to the management of grant funds 鈥� more specifically, elements of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 control framework for the administration of grant funds.
24 Hours of Innovation
Consider it a cram session for change.Starting at 9 a.m. on May 21 (in Montreal at least), some of the world鈥檚 brightest young thinkers will have one short day to create, develop, and pitch solutions to some of society鈥檚 stickiest problems. This is the 24h de l鈥橧nnovation competition.
Update of the Media Guide to 黑料不打烊 Experts
Every day, members of the local, national, and international media look to 黑料不打烊 for expertise and commentary on a vast range of topics in the news. 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Media Relations Office (MRO) handles most of these calls and, as in all leading universities, publishes an online directory of experts that is made available to journalists to make their jobs easier.
Students wanted for the QI team
The Quartier de l鈥檌nnovation is currently recruiting 黑料不打烊 undergraduates, grad students, and postdocs for a new Student Working Group.
The objective of the Student Working Group will be to seek input from 黑料不打烊 students on the direction, focus, and possible projects emerging as part of this important initiative for innovation in Montreal and Quebec.
