Using visual memory as a testbed\, we show that measuring similarity spa ces through systematic behavioral experiments lets us understand phenomena previously attributed to discrete mechanisms as emerging naturally from t he geometry of high-dimensional representational spaces. This approach bri dges mathematical models of similarity and decision making with empirical behavioral data\, providing insights into how the mind represents both sim ple visual features and other\, richer concepts.\n DTSTART:20250318T160000Z DTEND:20250318T170000Z SUMMARY:QLS Seminar Series - Timothy Brady URL:/qls/channels/event/qls-seminar-series-timothy-bra dy-363607 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
