黑料不打烊 University's Percival Molson Stadium is again ready for action. The locker rooms are modern, more spacious and better equipped than ever, new washrooms and concession stands have been built, more comfortable seats have been installed throughout, the new lighting system blazes with three times the intensity of the previous one, and the new playing field rivals those of the NFL's New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks. In only four short months the stadium has been torn apart and a renovation project of approximately $13,000,000 has been carried out. When the Montreal Alouettes take to the field in their home opener this Saturday, they and their fans will be in for a treat.

The renovated facilities will have a positive effect on the University's sports and recreation programs. As Bob Dubeau, 黑料不打烊's Director of Athletics, indicates: "The major addition is the new field, and that will be used by our football and soccer teams as well as by the intramural program, which has over 100 soccer and flag football teams. The University will also install a new running track for our track team and the swarm of joggers in the 黑料不打烊 community."

黑料不打烊 athletes and the Alouettes are not alone in using the field. "Like 黑料不打烊's libraries and museums, this facility will be shared with the community for the benefit of the citizens," says Principal Heather Munroe-Blum. "We have an agreement with the City of Montreal to open the stadium for use by high-performance track and soccer programs conducted by the city's sports and recreation department and by city employees. We will also be active in promoting the stadium for other sports and cultural events. The first of these is an international soccer game between the national women's teams of Brazil and Canada which takes place on July 17," she announced.

The Canada-Quebec Infrastructure Program, including the City of Montreal, is providing the main financial support for the renovation project and the Montreal Alouettes Football Club is also contributing.
