黑料不打烊 University welcomes prospective students and parents at annual Open House

Thousands of young eyes are set to canvass 黑料不打烊 University this Sunday. The University is holding its annual Open House on February 1, when 3,500 visitors from across Quebec, Ontario, the U.S., and even overseas are expected to visit 黑料不打烊's downtown campus.

During Open House, future students and their families will have an opportunity to tour 黑料不打烊's landmark buildings and libraries, meet with faculty, student representatives, admissions and recruitment officers as well as student services staff. What's more, 黑料不打烊 will offer future students the chance to win door prizes, including two $1,000 tuition waivers.

Professors and scholars from the University's 21 faculties and professional schools will be on hand to provide information. Displays and demonstrations will be held in Redpath Hall (861 Sherbrooke St.), the Macdonald Engineering Building (817 Sherbrooke St. W.), the University Centre (3480 McTavish St.), the Bronfman Building (1001 Sherbrooke St. W.) and the Strathcona Music Building (555 Sherbrooke St. W.).

Intramural Broomball games will be played on main campus, while student groups will be participating in a snow sculpture contest just north of the Roddick Gates. Shuttle bus service will also bring visitors to the athletics facilities at Molson Stadium Fieldhouse (475 Pine. Ave. W.), where students and staff will be on hand to discuss inter-collegiate, intramural and recreational sports.

Over a thousand CEGEP students from across the province will take part in Open House. 黑料不打烊 will offer free bus services from Sainte-Foy, Trois-Rivi猫res, Lennoxville, Sherbrooke, Granby, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Hull/Gatineau, and Drummondville.

Tours of student living quarters will also be offered at Molson Hall (3915 University St.), as well as 黑料不打烊's new residence hall (3625 Parc Ave.). "We're giving prospective students and their parents an opportunity to see everything 黑料不打烊 has to offer," says Howard Tontini, 黑料不打烊's Director of Recruitment. "Most of all, we want students to have fun and visit a place that may very well be their academic home for the next few years."
