Panel Discussion: Attitude or Aptitude: Why do Children Dislike School?
October 16, 7-9 pm

Do they have learning needs that aren't being met? Is the curriculum irrelevant or are teaching methods not motivating? Does the problem originate with the kids or the schools? How can parents help?
Panelists: Prof. Roger Slee, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Nancy Heath, of the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, and others will provide insight on this issue.
