Artiste polyvalente, Doroth茅a Ventura est tr猫s active dans le milieu artistique qu茅b茅cois. Chanteuse, claveciniste, coach vocal, chef de ch艙ur, danseuse et com茅dienne, elle s'est produite au sein des plus prestigieux ensembles qu茅b茅cois, canadiens et europ茅ens, sur environ 500 productions, concerts et disques, dont plusieurs ayant obtenu des Prix Opus, Prix Juno et nominations 脿 l鈥橝DISQ. Elle a cofond茅 l鈥橢nsemble ALKEMIA, ensemble vocal a cappella, finaliste au Early Music America Competition 脿 New York et en nomination aux Prix Opus 2014 et 2015 (Meilleur concert de l鈥檃nn茅e). Avec le violoniste Olivier Brault, elle collabore 脿 la cr茅ation de l鈥檈nsemble Sonate 1704, visant 脿 d茅couvrir le r茅pertoire des sonates pour violon en France au 18e si猫cle. Elle est directrice artistique des Id茅es heureuses, si猫ge sur le comit茅 artistique de La Nef, dirige le Ch艙ur Opus Novum, enseigne le clavecin au C茅gep de Trois-Rivi猫res et est professeur r茅guli猫re 脿 CAMMAC. Coach vocal en priv茅 pour chanteurs professionnels et notamment 脿 l鈥橝telier lyrique de l鈥橭p茅ra de Montr茅al, elle a 茅t茅 assistante des chefs Yannick N茅zet-S茅guin, Herv茅 Niquet et Andrew Parrott sur plusieurs productions d鈥檕p茅ra. Suite 脿 une solide formation de danse classique, moderne et baroque, elle devient membre de la compagnie Les Jardins chor茅graphiques en 2009. Comme com茅dienne, Doroth茅a a jou茅 dans plusieurs courts-m茅trages et pi猫ces de th茅芒tre, dont les 150 repr茅sentations de La m茅lodie du bonheur, mise en sc猫ne par Denise Filiatrault.

Multitalented artist Doroth茅a Ventura is very active in the Quebec artistic scene. Singer, harpsichordist, vocal coach, choral director, dancer and actor, she has participated in some 500 productions with the most prestigious ensembles in Quebec, Canada and Europe. She has recorded for theatrical, cinematic, and dance productions, and made some 20 CDs, several of which have won Juno, Opus prizes and ADISQ nominations. In addition to coaching professional singers in private and at L鈥橝telier lyrique de l鈥橭p茅ra de Montr茅al, she often works as a coach and assistant conductor (notably for Yannick N茅zet-S茅guin, Herv茅 Niquet, and Andrew Parrott) for baroque opera productions. Doroth茅a Ventura is a cofounder of the a cappella Ensemble ALKEMIA, finalist of the EMA competition in New York, and on three occasions at the Opus Awards, category Concert of the Year. She is also a member of Sonate 1704 ensemble, which focus on discovering 18th-century French violin sonatas. Artistic director of Les Id茅es heureuses, she also directs Choeur Opus Novum, is a member of the artistic committee of La Nef, teaches harpsichord at the C茅gep de Trois-Rivi猫res and is a regular teacher at Cammac for several years. Solidly trained in classical, modern, and baroque dance, she became a member of the dance company Les Jardins chor茅graphiques in 2009. Doroth茅a has also acted in several short films and plays, including 150 performances of The sound of music, directed by Denise Filiatrault.
