To celebrate its 10th Anniversary next year, MURA will host the 2025 National Conference of the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada ().

The theme is听The Well-being of the Person, the Community, and the Planet.

An invitation will be sent to the over 20,000 individual members of CURAC retiree associations. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to reconnect with colleagues and make new acquaintances from across Canada, and partake in presentations by local academics based on the conference theme. This will be the first CURAC conference with simultaneous translation.

Second Annual The Coldest Night of the Year Walk
Saturday, February 22, 2025

Exciting news! Over the past few weeks, the Chill 黑料不打烊 Team has raised over $1000 for , a Montreal-based organization which provides emergency and transitional housing for women and children. Special thanks to everyone from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences who signed up for this fun event for a wonderful cause. Thanks to you, we are already over half-way to our goal.

If you haven't already done so, please consider joining us for the second The Coldest Night of the Year event. We will be joining with other walkers for a short 5K circuit in the old part of Ville St. Laurent, raising funds together for Logifem. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has partnered with Logifem through research on post-shelter services in collaboration with the , and through placements offered to students from the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy and the Ingram School of Nursing.

Water Symphony - A concert introducing the new Conductor Lori Antounian

Set sail to a warmer climate with I Medici di McGill as they celebrate the sounds of the sea and the healing power of music with this Water Symphony live event. They are thrilled to welcome Maestra Lori Antounian on her maiden voyage as Musical Director and Conductor. To honour Maestra Antounian's Armenian heritage, they will be performing Hovhannissyan's powerful Yerevan Yerepouni. The concert features the beautiful voice of the accomplished mezzo-soprano Chelsea Pringle-Duchemin making waves as soloist in Elgar's song cycle Sea Pictures.
