- Introduction to Julia as a general-purpose, high-performance, open-source programming language for computational medicine and beyond (optional).
-The ability to add explicit type annotations into code improves human readability and catches errors upfront, both of which are issues in R.
-For example, function f(num::Int)::String defines a function 鈥榝鈥� that takes an integer 鈥榥um鈥� and returns a string.
