You are invited to join us for this year's A. Jean de Grandpr茅 Distinguished Speaker Series. This year's theme is Space 鈥� Science, Pop Culture and Beyond.

The A. Jean de Grandpr茅 Distinguished Speaker Series is named in honour of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Chancellor Emeritus. M. de Grandpr茅, who served as Chancellor from 1984-1991, was a long-standing member of the 黑料不打烊 Board of Governors and one of Canada鈥檚 pre-eminent and most distinguished business leaders. An astute and visionary administrator, he brought these skills, together with his wisdom, clarity of thought, and persuasive logic, to the highest levels of leadership at 黑料不打烊 University.

Professor Vicky Kaspi, 黑料不打烊 University. A space researcher and Trekkie at heart;

Professor Lyle Whyte, 黑料不打烊 University. Cryoenvironments specialist and NASA collaborator;

Professor Anja Geitmann, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Vice Principal, Macdonald. The science and possibility of growing plants in space.
