Study permits and CAQ applications
- Answers to general questions about immigration procedures
- International students can register and follow remote instruction without a valid CAQ and study permit; HOWEVER, we urge you to apply for these documents as soon as possible. Response times are slower, but these applications are still being processed.
- International students can complete up to 50% of their program remotely and still qualify for the Post-Graduation Work Permit.

Remote learning
- Answers to general questions about remote learning
- Instructors will be making coursework as accessible as possible, designing courses and evaluation formats that consider many different challenges that students face.
- Teaching and Learning Services offers some useful resources on when learning is remote.
Research
- Answers to general questions about graduate research
- Graduate research will be prioritized in the Fall, with creative solutions to accommodate everyone as much as possible.
- Thesis students should be in regular contact with their supervisors about beginning research and lab work. Solutions such as virtual labs and adapting work schedules to frontload work that can be done from home will be implemented.
