This online workshop is for students who know what their priorities are and want to create a plan for their goals. Using modules 3 and 4 of the myPath IDP Workbook, participants will select their goals for the next year and develop an action plan. Participants will leave with a first draft of their IDP (Individual Development Plan).

Note: Though it is not a prerequisite, this workshop is designed to be taken after completing 鈥�Identify Your Goals: Create Your IDP (part 1)鈥�. Check out for upcoming dates and to find out about our other workshops!

myPath IDP Toolkit

Goal setting is an important predictor of wellbeing and success in graduate school.¹听 The IDP (Individual Development Plan) is a tool designed to help you articulate and plan your goals in different areas including career planning, wellbeing, professional development, and academic projects.

Think of your IDP as a tailored roadmap that guides you from where you are now to where you want to be. The purpose of an IDP is not to "lock" you into a set of goals, but rather to help you approach your work and life with more intention, and to adapt your plan when new challenges and opportunities arise.
