Andrew Stein: Research Agent, City of Montréal, Public Works Dept of the LaSalle Borough

Ìý

Bio: A two-time Mac alum, Andrew works for the City of Montréal in urban forestry and shoreline management. He contributes to projects such as systematic tree pruning, shoreline audits, and ecological restoration all through the lenses of climate change, ecosystem services, and systems thinking. (MSc 2018 IWRM (Integrated Water Resource Management); BSc 2017 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Environment (Ag & Env, Specialism Land Surface Processes and Environmental Change), minor Philosophy.

Michael Williams: Director of Sales, Triumvirate Environmental

Ìý

Bio: 21-year employee of Triumvirate Environmental. Originally from Massachusetts spent the first 10 years in Massachusetts doing fieldwork and operations management, spent the second 10 years in Maryland managing our top clients while helping manage and grow the business in the regional office. Currently the director of sales responsible for developing our newer technical sales representatives in the company. (BA Biology / Environmental Science).

Steven Powers: GM Facilities, Triumvirate

Ìý

Simon Naylor: Vice President, Viridis

Bio: Simon has more than twenty years’ experience in recycling residual waste from municipalities, agribusiness, and pulp and paper industries. In 2009, he founded Viridis Environnement, which quickly became the leader of its field with over $ 15 million in sales and around 50 employees, Viridis now recycles 600,000 tons of organic waste per year. Highly involved in his community, Simon sits on several boards of Directors, give many conferences on waste recycling and collaborate with Quebec Government on several policies and regulation in the environment. (Agronomist B.Sc. and Masters in Biological Sciences).
