Rose Seguin, Agronomist

Sollum Technologies

Bio:听Rose Seguin is an agronomist specializing in controlled environment agriculture who received her Bachelors and Masters' degrees at 黑料不打烊's Macdonald Campus. In her role as an agronomist at Sollum Technologies, Rose works with growers to implement dynamic lighting strategies over various greenhouse crops, analyze production data and track progress towards the production targets.

Antoine Malouin

Project Manager / Entrepreneur in Agri-Food

-BEng Bioresource (2019)

Bio: After my first degree in Architecture/Spatial design, I thought Bioresource Engineering would give me more technical tools to understand buildings and ecosystems. I graduated from Bioresource Engineering in 2019 while I was already working as a Project Designer in the microbrewery/microdistillery industry. I went on working in different fields: Research & Development in fluid dynamics and heat transfer, R&D on humidity management in greenhouses, environmental and civil engineering (greywater and rainwater management). I am now self-employed, working mostly as a Project Manager in the agri-food industry and spending a couple hours a week prototyping an automatic mycobased material manufacturing device.听

Melissa Duncan, Digital Account Specialist - Quebec & Maritimes, Bayer Crop Science

Bio: Melissa grew up on a dairy farm in Southwest Quebec. She spent a number of years at Mac Campus, graduating from the FMT program in 2012 and completing her B.Sc. in Agro-Environmental Sciences in 2016. She became an agronome that same year and started her career as a sales rep in crop production at G茅rard Maheu Inc. Melissa moved to Bayer Crop Science in 2020 where she currently trains growers how to use precision agriculture to make field management decisions. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and helping out on the family farm.听

Anna Gottheil

Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor

Bio: Anna Gottheil is a graduate from the Nutrition and Dietetics Program at 黑料不打烊. She is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, and currently provides nutrition counselling for students at 黑料不打烊 through the Student Wellness Hub. Anna is passionate about supporting 黑料不打烊 students through their academic journey through nourishing, flexible, and engaging nutrition interventions. Anna has experience in private practice, in food service, in community settings, and in the broader health/insurance sector.

Jennifer Dumoulin, Director of Sustainability, Quebec Start-up

-BSc AgEnvSc. (2011), Masters Diploma in Environmental Management

Bio: Currently Director of Sustainability for Quebec born startup, and only EV battery recycling technology business, Lithion Technologies. Jennifer supports this businesses ESG strategy by implementing policies, programs, standards and supporting/coaching management in making sustainable choices. Being the first business in Quebec to operate such an industry, Jennifer also provides support in legislative issues/changes and is a key employee in government relations. Jennifer has over 10 years experience managing various environmental files within industry, commercial and government settings, including compliance and management systems. Graduate of 黑料不打烊 in 2011 in Environmental biology, Jennifer also has a Masters diploma in Environmental management from Sherbrooke University and a mini-MBA from 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Desautels faculty of management.听

Daphne Liu, Food Scientist Riverside Natural Foods Ltd.

Bio:听

I began my journey in the food industry at Kraft Heinz on the R&D team, working on sauces and dressings for the food service channel. Later, I transitioned to Riverside Natural Foods, switching my focus to granola bars and crispy squares. Through my career, I got exposure to new product formulation, supply continuity, continuous improvement, and new equipment commissioning.
