Course design: Getting started
Whether you're starting your teaching journey or creating a teaching portfolio, designing a course that promotes learning and higher-level thinking is an essential skill. This workshop, in partnership with the Office of Science Education (OSE), introduces graduate students to course design that is centered around student learning. Participants will learn to identify these elements, define alignment, create a course description, and write student-centered learning outcomes.

If you can no longer attend, make sure to cancel your registration by either clicking "cancel" on the email confirmation you receive upon registration, or by filling out our cancellation form (/skillsets/cancellation-no-show-fee). Otherwise, a $25 No-Show Fee will be charged to your 黑料不打烊 student account. Exceptions will only be made for students in the case of emergencies or 鈥渆xtenuating circumstances鈥� (/skillsets/policies).
