Qui 锚tes-vous鈥�? Savez-vous vous vendre鈥�? Pour y r茅pondre, vous 茅tablirez votre profil de comp茅tences, aptitudes et int茅r锚ts. Vous pr茅parerez ensuite votre pr茅sentation-茅clair et pourrez l鈥櫭﹑rouver dans un environnement convivial. Vous serez ainsi pr锚t.e 脿 vous d茅marquer en entrevue d鈥檈mploi ou lors d鈥檃ctivit茅s de r茅seautage.听* Remarque : Atelier en deux parties

Apprendre 脿 se conna卯tre est un atelier, en deux parties*, qui a pour objectif d鈥檃ider les 茅tudiant.e.s non francophones 脿 identifier leurs forces et valoriser leurs exp茅riences de b茅n茅volat, d鈥檌mplication universitaire et de travail afin de r茅ussir dans leurs d茅marches professionnelles. Au cours de l鈥檃telier (partie 1), les participant.e.s identifieront leurs traits de personnalit茅 et leurs champs d鈥檌nt茅r锚t puis 茅tabliront leur profil de comp茅tences et aptitudes. Ensuite (partie 2), les participant.e.s visionneront des pr茅sentations-clairs pour structurer leur propre pr茅sentation-茅clair et l鈥櫭﹑rouver dans un environnement convivial. A la fin de cet atelier, les participant.e.s seront pr锚t.e.s 脿 se pr茅senter en fran莽ais avec professionnalisme lors des activit茅s de r茅seautage et de l鈥檈ntrevue d鈥檈mploi.

Who are you? Do you know how to sell yourself? To address these questions, you will be asked to create a competency, skills and interests profile. Preparation of a flash-presentation in a friendly environment will ensue. You鈥檒l be ready to stand out during an interview or a networking activity.听* Note: this is a 2-part workshop.

听

"Learn to Know Yourself" workshop is designed to help non-francophone students to identify their strengths and validate their academic/volunteer/work experiences in order to more effectively communicate their endeavors to potential employers. During this workshop (part 1), participants will identify their personality traits and areas of interests, and then establish their profile of skills and natural talents.

听

Then, in workshop part 2, participants will have the opportunity to view and discuss the structure of a successful 鈥渆levator pitch鈥�, and will be able to practice their own pitch in a friendly and encouraging environment. At the end of this workshop, the participants will be ready to present themselves professionally in French in the context of networking activities and job interviews.
