Houman Farzin MD, MSc, CCFP
"The Role of Experiential Learning in Psychedelic Medicine Training and Education鈥
Dr. Houman Farzin is an attending physician in the Division of Palliative Care at the Jewish General Hospital. He lectures at 黑料不打烊 University Medical School, where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Family Medicine. He conducts research focused on psychedelic-assisted therapies as well as the use of cannabis and exercise for treating chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). He has organized some of Montreal's first psychedelic psychotherapy training programs and has treated the first series of patients with psilocybin and MDMA through the healthcare system in Quebec. He holds an M.Sc. from the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley.
