Ariane Courville茅-Le Bouyonnec, physician at the Department of Family Medicine and academic director of the university family medicine group (U-FMG) Jardins-Roussillon in Ch芒teauguay, was honoured with the Emerging Leader award from the Regional Department of General Medicine.
Barely two years after the end of her residency, she assumed the position of Director of Education at the U-FMG Jardins-Roussillon, and this, with exemplary leadership, creating a healthy environment conducive to learning. Her commitment to education, research and care for the vulnerable is commendable and she is a role model for future family physicians. Last year Dr. Courville-Le Bouyonnec won the 芦 prix de la rel猫ve en m茅decine de famille" from the Coll猫ge qu茅b茅cois des m茅decins de famille (CQMF) which recognizes the leadership skills of a family physician in their early years of practice.
