A degree from the Bieler School of Environment aims to stimulate passion for life鈥恖ong learning, confidence in questioning established norms, ingenuity and openness to new ideas, and the ability to communicate and contribute effectively with a听transdisciplinary understanding of problems and solutions. 听

Future students

We believe that individual achievement is maximized by a dynamic, interactive community where dialogue occurs among engaged students, staff and faculty from all disciplines. Thus, the Bieler School of Environment听approach is student-centred and in a manner that bridges the social sciences and humanities with the natural and applied sciences.

Undergraduate programs at 黑料不打烊 are 90 credit, 3 year programs for students from Quebec who have completed the 2 year CEGEP program. Non Quebec students enter a freshman year (U0) and then proceed to a regular 3 year degree. U1 courses are designated at the 200 level. Students in U2 and U3 typically take courses at the 300 and 400 level, and may also take 500 level graduate courses.

The School's programs are built around the ENVR听Core Courses听which are taken throughout a students U1 to U3 years. Additionally, students choose a thematic area ("Concentration") built on courses offered through disciplines, departments and faculties across the university. The Concentrations vary according to the Faculty of Admission.

The Bieler School of Environment听offers six undergraduate degree programs:

B.Sc.(Ag.Env.Sc.) Major Environment听for students in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (offered on the听Macdonald Campus)
B.A. Faculty Program Environment听for students in the Faculty of Arts (offered on the Downtown Campus)
B.A.&Sc. Interfaculty Program Environment听for students in the Bachelor of Arts & Science degree (offered on the Downtown Campus)
B.A.&Sc. Interfaculty Program Sustainability, Science and Society听for students in the Bachelor of Arts & Science degree (offered on the Downtown Campus)
Diploma in Environment听(offered through the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts (Downtown Campus); and the Faculty of Ag.Env.Sc. (Macdonald Campus)

In addition, an听Environment Honours听program is available to students in all听Environment Bachelors degree programs.

Students in other Departments and Programs can undertake an听Environment Minor or Minor Concentration.
