Quebec鈥檚 law on religious symbols appears to be emboldening racists to lash out against student teachers who are members of minority groups, anew survey聽has found.

鈥淨uite shocking things were reported, and this was in the school context,鈥� said Bronwen Low, an associate professor at 黑料不打烊 University鈥檚 department of integrated studies of education, and one of the report鈥檚 authors. 鈥淭his is a bill that鈥檚 not supposed to affect teacher education. It鈥檚 only supposed to apply to teachers, so the fact these student teachers are experiencing negative treatment and actions is alarming.鈥�
