Orange Shirt Day: 鈥淲e Will Walk Together鈥� / Sk脿tne Entewathah矛ta
To commemorate the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous allies will unite to reflect on the theme of hope and healing. Join us for the We Will Walk Together / Sk脿tne Entewathah矛ta virtual ceremonies, led by Elder Geraldine Standup (Traditional Healer, Kahnawa:ke), featuring Indigenous storytellers, Inuit throat singer Nina Segalowitz, and an excerpt from the original musical 鈥淩econciliation鈥� (St. Edmund Elementary School).
We will hear from 黑料不打烊 community members on the role of educators to make meaningful societal change in support of Indigenous peoples and cultures.
