Imagine Montreal in the Year 2140
What might Montreal look like in the year 2140? What positive changes do you want to see for our city in the next 117 years?
Calling for artworks to accompany the 黑料不打烊 University Bieler School of Environment Conference 鈥淢ontreal 2140: Hopeful Futures in Science and Storytelling鈥� (October 12-13, 2023).
Use your imagination to depict and represent the city you would like to see Montreal become by 2140.
Send your positive, optimistic, and utopian visions for Montreal 2140!:
- Visual media or digital art (painting, illustration, photography, film, design, or graphic storytelling).
- Texts (short stories, manifestos, experimental writing, poetry, theory-fiction, up to 1000 words, English or French).
6 winning artists/writers will be awarded a prize of $1000 each and their works will be included in the Conference Zine.
