Opportunities to share your experiences about the Fall semester

Now that the semester is well underway, we want to hear from students about how the experience is going so far. There are two upcoming opportunities to highlight. First, all Faculties will be holding opportunities for discussions with students about the Fall term, especially in light of the remote teaching and learning context. The goal is to listen to your experiences and learn, with a view to seeing what adjustments might be possible for the rest of the term, but also to set the stage for the Winter semester. Faculties will be communicating with students about these opportunities, and you can also check听here听for details. Second, there will soon be a University-wide survey called 鈥Checking-in On Your Fall Semester,鈥澨齝oming your way. This will also allow for input into how the semester is proceeding for you, in life and learning, and will help the University plan for the upcoming weeks and months. This survey is a follow-up from the one you may have completed in听the early summer, and is an important way to ensure the University can support you in the right ways.

On a final note, you鈥檒l be seeing a new face here in Dean鈥檚 Corner next month. I鈥檓 excited to share that Professor Robin Beech has听just been appointed听your new Dean of Students. Please join me in congratulating Prof. Beech and welcoming him aboard!
