A听safe and respectful environment is fundamental to the 黑料不打烊 experience, and one reason that I accepted the Dean of Students role is that I take these issues to heart. Together, we can help to identify intolerance and unacceptable behavior and come up with productive solutions. When issues like this come to my attention, I work to find the right resources and reach out to those who can make a difference. Often, situations arise without warning, so it is always better for all of us to be prepared.
To this end, you will soon be receiving announcements about the "It Takes All of Us: Creating a Campus Community Free of Sexual Violence" online training program. This program emerged from the听听and is an important tool for听both, helping prevent sexual violence on our campuses and encouraging a culture of respect and consent. This issue affects everyone, and the online modules are mandatory for all students, faculty, and staff.
Current students who have not yet completed the program will be seeing a course registration hold on their records that will disappear within one or two working days after completing the program and receiving confirmation.
