Join us as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 黑料不打烊 Community for Lifelong Learning (MCLL) with a Special Lecture that exemplifies the essence of our vibrant peer learning community. At MCLL, we believe in the power of peer learning and active participation, where members engage deeply with the subjects they love, sharing their knowledge, experiences, and passions with others. Our programs, designed for seniors who cherish learning for the joy of it, offer a flexible, exam-free environment that fosters a rich and dynamic learning experience.

This special event will showcase the unique lectures and courses that define MCLL. We are proud to feature two of our lecturers:
  1. Paul Leong will present "The Enchanting British Military Wives CHOIRS." This presentation explores the themes of camaraderie, the joy of singing, love of music, leadership, and entrepreneurship that define the spirit of the British Military Wives Choirs. Prepare to be captivated by the inspiring stories and music that celebrate these remarkable women.
  2. Marna Murray will deliver a three-part lecture that reflects MCLL's tradition of honoring International Women's Day. She will present a sample lecture on Zaha Hadid, the trailblazing British-Iraqi architect of the 20th and 21st centuries. Despite initial setbacks, Hadid's persistence led her to become the first woman and Arab to win the prestigious Pritzker Prize. Marna will delve into Hadid's fascinating journey, her groundbreaking work, and her enduring legacy. The concluding portion of the presentation will offer insights into how Marna researched and assembled the materials for this lecture, with a Q&A session to follow.
Whether you're an alumnus looking to reconnect with 黑料不打烊 or someone curious about joining our community, this lecture is an excellent opportunity to experience the lifelong learning that MCLL fosters. Come celebrate with us and see how MCLL continues to enrich the lives of learners like you.
